__The Revolution Has Begun__
Those iron ropes shook with such great force that bolts went flying in every direction. Beneath them the ground shook. Around them screams were heard. Before them, the future of Mutant Kind lay. The brotherhood marched upon the Brooklyn Bridge to destroy what threatened the Homo-Superior Race. On the other end of that moving bridge, soldiers lay ready, prepared to destroy anyone that got near their new found hope. Their orders were to destroy anything that wanted their salvation dead. So there they stood, holding guns that were no longer made of the metal that turned against them when Magneto approached. Made of a plastic, holding the fixer to their problem. Holding the very thing that threatened the Mutant Race. The Cure.
The bridge landed, and hordes of mutants went rushing in to destroy those that stood in their way. Firing was heard, but no one could simply pull the guns away. So there, the Brotherhood Generals watched as their Soldiers ran out to their dooms. Turned human upon the ground, and then killed by those that weren't cured yet.
"Now now Juggernaut, the pawns move first."
Soon enough, a third party entered the great battle of all battles. Arriving just as the Generals were about to attack, a small team of mutants known as the X-Men arrived consisting of Bobby Drake aka Ice Man, Kitty Pryde aka Shadow Cat, Logan aka Wolverine, Ororo Munroe aka Storm Henry McCoy aka Beast and Piotr Rasputin aka Colossus. These six people, stood in a single line. Between the Brotherhood and the thing that threatened the very existence of their own kind.
The battle raged on. Many lives were lost. Many de-powered by what they were trying to destroy. In the end, it brought on something many wouldn't expect. A plan had been formulated during this carnage, and it worked, Magneto losing all source of his ability ran off and went into hiding. But not soon after that did Jean Gray that was found still alive, but under the influence of The Phoenix lose control, and attempt to sink the very Island that she stood on. Knowing what he had to do, Logan killed the woman he loved. Believing she was gone for good.
Now, in the confusion of what Logan had gone through, he had blacked out, and found that Jean's body was gone. Even more emotionally unstable from the fact he couldn't bury her upon the grounds, Logan seemed to disappear for quite some time.
But Jean wasn't dead, a healer had seen her with such great power, being a Indonesian native, the man believed her to be the god of war. Taking her in, he healed her, in attempts to let her reign over what was rightfully hers.

2 Month Later
After Alcatraz, Storm rightfully took her place as Headmistress of Xavier's school. Life went on as normal as it could for those that lived inside the large mansion. But outside, the world was still healing. The brotherhood had disbanded, and were seen causing small trouble about the city of New York. All easily taken care of by the X-Men, many in jail right now. But slowly, things started to change.
Rogue had returned from her trip, fully cured of her abilities that hurt so many people she knew. Finally happy that she could freely touch her boyfriend Rogue still stayed at Xavier's, even though she was now considered human. But the happiness didn't last long. Spending time with a new befriended Kitty Pryde, she went to simply hug the girl, when the next thing Rogue new, she was in the basement, and kitty was on the floor, trembling and bleeding from her head.
The world turned upside down as The Cure started to wear off, and again tension started to rise among the human and mutant populations. And with this brought on the second reign of The Phoenix. She was spotted by mutant named Kurt Wagner, a blue devilish looking mutant that had joined the team two years ago. Seeing her walk the streets, Kurt rushed off to inform the Headmistress of Xavier's.
Provoked once to many times, The Phoenix attempted to destroy the city of New York. Needing help, a group called the Avengers stormed in willing to help the X-Men bring down The Phoenix once and for all. And, in an attempt to show no ill-will toward Magneto, Storm requested that he and his two children, Wanda and Pietro also known as the Scarlett Witch and Quicksilver, to help them.
Finding that if he didn't, a mutant would once again be the end of his race, helped. Joining him was his two grandsons from Wanda, William Kaplan and Thomas Sheperd. Also known as Wiccan and Speed. Together the family attempted to get rid of The Phoenix for good besides The X-Men and Avengers. But things never seem to go as they for Magneto. In this fight, he lost his two grandchildren, which sent Wanda into a chaotic state. Warping reality several times over caused her to mutter three words...
"No More Mutants"
And the population of millions of mutants was suddenly send to a small number of 198. Magneto and Pietro being of those many. As well as Wanda. But The Phoenix in the end was destroyed by this, and peace was brought on once more.

Six Months Later
The school stayed open, even though many of the students could now go home to their families since their powers were deactivated. And with this brought on the weekly visits from the Avengers. For after the battle of Phoenix, friendships were formed, and soon the Avengers became the X-Men greatest ally. Of the group that visited the Mansion, T’Challa or Black Panther, was one of them. And one day, after bumping into an old friend and flame, Ororo Munroe, they seemed to have managed find that old flame, and things started of slowly with a small lunch.
The school was very happy for Storm, to find someone that was for her. And to have someone to help her relieve some of the stress put upon her shoulders. Times seemed to be a lot happier at the mansion when the Avenger's visited. Iron Man, showing off what his suit can do. Nick Fury giving a small training class in place of Logan. Bruce Banner teaching Science. It was almost as if it was Christmas all over again each time the group came to check up upon the slowly recovering school.
During this time, Pietro met a woman named named Crystal, who wasn't of this planet. And soon the two fell in love. Talking him to her home planet of Attilan where Pietro was exposed to the Terrigan Mists, where he regained is powers, and also the ability to restore others abilities as well. And so he began rebuilding the mutant population.
During this time, Ororo and T'Challa were engaged and married. But still unable to move in full time, T'Challa wasn't seen much. But all of this soon changed when the announcement of Ororo's first child came about. T'Challa then became a permanent resident of the Mansion to help his wife with her Headmistress duties.
But then, a face that they were pretty sure they would never see again, showed up upon their doorstep. William Stryker attacked the mansion in the dead of night with the help of Bolviar Trask and the Purifiers. They did this in hopes of to make the slowly growing mutant numbers small again. With this brought on the death of 12 students and 2 teachers. And with this, came a new management. Seeing that the school was no where near ready to fight again, The Avengers begged Storm to step down and let them take over. And with that Storm did, to protect her students and her child.
So now, a Revolution begins as the Brotherhood starts to rebuild itself now that Pietro has given his father and sister their abilities back. The Purifiers plan on attacking again but no one knows were. The Avengers are in a hurry to recruit more members, while the X-Men are busy bringing in mutants that are in danger. Times are going to be hard.
But the real question is;
Are you sure your on the right side?
